Director of Business Development, Enterprise

Factual is seeking a highly accomplished Director of Business Development (Enterprise) to join our team. The Enterprise team works with some of the world’s largest mobile, location, retail, and financial services companies. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and partnership development across Factual’s global enterprise clients. You will work closely with the SVP of Revenue to define and refine enterprise growth strategy.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a stellar track record in sales and business development with leading enterprise companies. You should possess a love for prospecting new business and finding ways to help Fortune 500 corporations, reach their business objectives through Factual data products and solutions. You must also excel at contract negotiations, sourcing prospects, and working cross-functionally to implement deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to secure and grow new and existing partnerships that extend the distribution of Factual technology across the Fortune 500
  • Acquire new clients via cold calls, networking, and events attendance
  • Exceed revenue expectations each quarter
  • Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals
  • Engage in the day-to-day communications with both clients and the internal teams
  • Look for opportunities to help grow and expand the business through product innovation and customer needs
  • Use problem solving and analytical skills to determine how to maintain client satisfaction and deliver results
  • Work with product team to monitor the performance of clients
  • Represent the needs of top partners within the organization, and escalate issues and requests as needed
  • Analyze partner metrics to identify trends and issues, and develop recommendations to help optimize social sharing and revenue generation results
  • Evangelize Factual in the marketplace, and the overall importance of locational context as a key component in strategy

Qualifications:

  • More than 8 years of experience in Enterprise sales
  • Strong track record of achieving results with key business and procurement decision-makers across the Enterprise
  • Strong understanding of location, merchant and business/POI data and the key business stakeholders/decision-makers who need such data
  • High level of motivation in reaching aggressive targets while also ensuring that the needs of partners are always kept as the top priority
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience pitching both in person and over the phone
  • An entrepreneurial approach to business
  • Solution-oriented focus that conveys and demonstrates responsiveness and competence as well as a sense of urgency
  • BA/BS or equivalent required, MBA or relevant experience preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment
